Telemundo Network
From 2003 until present Rick has had an association with the Telemundo Network as a freelance composer/producer. The first category is work on network Novelas. This has consisted primarily of providing custom music for the promo campaigns of each program. Some shows would require just one cue, while for others would require an entire package of different moods so the promo editors had their own, show-exclusive library to pick from. More often then not, the music written and produced for the promo campaigns would make it into the Novela itself. This was highlighted in ’05 when the producers of “Los Plateados” decided to not only use the promo music in the show, but to use the promo theme as the theme for the nightly broadcast as well.
The second category are highlights of the promo work Rick’s done for the Network. An FYI, the lead male voice on the promo campaigns from ’07 and ’08 is one of the Telemundo novela actors, Jencarlos Canela. As you can hear, he’s also an extremely talented musician and singer.
